The Ingka Centers company, the owner of the Mega malls, has started the largest modernization in the history of the Russian retail real estate market worth about 29.5 billion rubles.
In March 2021, Ingka Centres, the owner of Mega malls, which is responsible for the development and management of IKEA real estate in Russia, started the largest modernization in the history of the Russian retail real estate market worth about 29.5 billion rubles. Special attention within this modernization will be paid to Mega Teply Stan shopping mall.
The area of the stores is planned to be increased by a third due to the new construction, and the underground space will be reconstructed as a parking lot.
The renovation will increase the leasable area, and a green park with a winter garden will appear above the parking area. The developers plan to install an area with a stage for various events in the center of Mega.
The transport hub adjacent to the shopping mall will be modernized in cooperation with the Moscow government.
The company intends to pay special attention to "green" technologies. LED lights and motion sensors will be added to increase energy efficiency, and the brightness will be regulated by controllers.
As part of a large-scale modernization of the Mega Teply Stan shopping mall, in 2021, our team produced special versions of Orion LED floor lamps at the request of the customer, which would organically fit into the interior of the green garden and other areas of the renovated mall, as well as meet energy efficiency requirements, allowing to reduce the harmful effects of power plants on the environment.
